Station Properties
Name
Name of the station. This name must be unique in the station list.
Numeric identifier
The numeric identifier is the code to be entered at the beginning of a telephone communication just before the operator identifier to identify the station to which the calling or called user is attached.
This code is only needed on central stations that have set a nonzero station identifier length in the voice server configuration window (see Vocal Server configuration). Otherwise, this field is grayed.
Call disabled
When this option is checked, calls for alarms attached to the station are inhibited (no calls made). This state is indicated by a red cross on the station icon ().
Alert Station
This group allows you to define the station's communication parameters when the Alert multi-station mode is enabled. To enable this mode, select the "Alert stations" option in the general options (see Advanced options). If this mode is not enabled, the options in this group are grayed out.
-
If the selected station is the local station (first station in the main screen tree):
If the data from the local station must be able to be centralized to a central station (defined in the Advanced options), the IP address of the local station and the listening IP port must be defined in the "Address" and "Port" fields.
-
If the selected station is not the local station:
If the station is a remote Alert station, check the "Remote station" box and define the IP address and port to communicate with the selected station in the "Address 1" and "Port" fields. If the selected station is redundant, you will also need to define the IP address of the redundant station in the "Address 2" field. This address will be used in case of connection failure with the primary station. If the "Remote station" box is not checked, the selected station is defined as a virtual station.
