Alarm Acknowledgment Properties
This dialog box allows you to configure the alarm acknowledgment options.
General
This tab defines the options for automatic alarm acknowledgment.
Acknowledgment on alarm reset
When this option is selected (choice Yes), the alarm will be automatically acknowledged when the alarm condition disappears (return to normal state).
If the "Default" check box is selected, the displayed option is the one that have been in the general alarm options.
Acknowledgment on reset before delayed call
When this option is selected (choice Yes), the alarm will be automatically acknowledged if the alarm returns to the normal state before the delayed call is triggered.
This option can be used to force the explicit manual acknowledgment of an alarm if this alarm lasts more than a defined time (call delay). It is particularly useful for dealing with alarms that require intervention if they last longer than a certain time (open door of a cold room for example).
If the "Default" check box is selected, the displayed option is the one that have been in the general alarm options.
Acknowledgment on group warned
When this option is selected (choice Yes), the alarm will be automatically acknowledged when the first or all the associated call group (depending on next option) have been successfully warned.
If the "Default" check box is selected, the displayed option is the one that have been in the general alarm options.
Acknowledgment on first group warned
When this option is selected (choice Yes), the alarm will be automatically acknowledged when one of the associated call group has been successfully warned.
If the "Default" check box is selected, the displayed option is the one that have been in the general alarm options.
