Event Schedule

This dialog box allows you to define time zones for event invalidation, alarm masking or call inhibition.

Event masked

During the time slots defined as Event masked, the event (or alarm) is completely ignored (no trace in the event log).

Note: An event triggered during a masking period will not be detected at the end of this masking period, even if it is still active at this time. A new activation of the event, outside the masking period, will be necessary to cause the correlative treatments.

Alarm masked

During the time slots set as Alarm masked, the alarm is automatically masked. The processing performed at the triggering of the alarm is the same as for the masked alarms (event log in the event log, masking in the alarm table, actions inhibited).

Call disabled

During the time slots defined as Call disabled, the event (or alarm) is normally processed, but the call actions ("call group" or "message to user") are inhibited.

Schedule

The schedule of an event can be selected from this drop-down list among the schedules that have been previously defined for other events. Choosing "(none)" means that there is no schedule associated with the event (default choice).

To define a new schedule, first select, if possible, the schedule closest to the one you want. Click on the button to the right of the drop-down list and select the "New..." command from the drop-down menu. After entering a name for the new schedule, draw the desired time table and validate by clicking on "OK".

The name of a schedule can be changed by selecting the "Rename..." command from the displayed drop-down menu by clicking the button to the right of the drop-down list.

The "Remove" command on the same menu allows you to delete the selected schedule. This deletion will affect all tags that share the schedule.

Schedule activation

Check this box to validate the configured schedule.

Time table

To set a time zone for masking or inhibiting, select the desired type of masking or inhibition from the top list. Move the mouse pointer to the schedule grid on the box corresponding to the day of the week and the start time of the desired range, press the left mouse button and then drag the mouse pointer with the mouse button pressed, until the box corresponding to the last day and last hour of the desired time range. Release the button.

To delete a time slot, repeat the same operation, but using the right mouse button.
