RSS Feed Configuration
The "RSS Feed Configuration" dialog box allows you to configure the automatic notification of alarms via RSS feed.
The RSS feature (Really Simple Syndication) makes it possible to automatically broadcast, from a WEB server, event information (news, news, alerts, etc.) to the client applications that have subscribed to this service. The information to be transmitted is written in an XML file, stored on a WEB server, using a standardized format.
The RSS feature of ALERT allows to automatically generate an XML file in the RSS 2.0 format, presenting the list of alarms present on the system, and to transmit this file by FTP to a public WEB server. The XML file is regenerated and transmitted periodically, whenever the status of the alarms has been modified (activation, reset, acknowledgment).
