Setup to supervise the redundant stations

Three OPC tags can be configured on each ALERT station to monitor redundant station performance.

remarque

All self-monitoring variables must be configured with the Local Item (Not redundant) setting enabled.

Setup Instructions

  1. Add a new Generic OPC data server and select Alert.OPCServer.1 as the source
  2. Add a new tag
  3. In the tag parameters, enter a long message, then click Advanced...
  4. Check the Local Item (Not redundant) box

Alarm: RedundancyFail

Indicates whether redundancy is functioning properly between the two stations.

1Link or COM error on the redundant station
2Link error with the redundant station (loss of redundant station)

OPC reference: Server ALERT / Group Alarm / Item RedundancyFail

Alarm: RemotePortFail

Indicates whether modems on the redundant station are operating correctly.

Indicates the link status between ALERT and the supervisor on the redundant station.
