This section describes how to configure the Alert software for use with the AlertMobile app.
AlertMobile allows users to receive alarm messages on their Android or iOS mobile devices. Users can manage and track alarms directly from their smartphone.
An LWP (Lone Worker Protection) option is also available, leveraging the smart sensors embedded in Android smartphones (accessible from the Safety tab).
Supported Platforms
AlertMobile is compatible with:
- Android — see Android system requirements
- Apple iOS — see iOS system requirements
Architecture
To ensure setup simplicity and high reliability of information transmission, AlertMobile offers 2 different connection modes:
- AlertMobile WiFi — direct connection over the local network (Android only)
- AlertMobile WEB — connection via 3G/4G mobile network (Android & iOS)
