Setup to supervise the redundant stations
Three OPC tags can be configured on each ALERT station to monitor redundant station performance.

All self-monitoring variables must be configured with the Local Item (Not redundant) setting enabled.
Setup Instructions
- Add a new Generic OPC data server and select
Alert.OPCServer.1as the source - Add a new tag
- In the tag parameters, enter a long message, then click Advanced...
- Check the Local Item (Not redundant) box
Alarm: RedundancyFail
Indicates whether redundancy is functioning properly between the two stations.
| Value | Meaning |
|---|---|
| 0 | Redundancy OK |
| 1 | Link or COM error on the redundant station |
| 2 | Link error with the redundant station (loss of redundant station) |
OPC reference: Server ALERT / Group Alarm / Item RedundancyFail
Alarm: RemotePortFail
Indicates whether modems on the redundant station are operating correctly.

| 0 | All ports OK |
| 1 | At least one port failing |
| 2 | All ports failing |

Alarm: RemoteLinkFail
Indicates the link status between ALERT and the supervisor on the redundant station.
