Registering your license

The software requires administrator privileges to write registry information. For version 3.6 rev 2 or earlier, execute from an administrator session. On Windows Vista and later, right-click the executable and select "Run as administrator". Version 4.0+ requests privilege elevation automatically during registration.

Procedure​

  1. Copy the .lic file received via email to C:\ProgramData\Micromedia\Alert\License
  2. Launch Alert with administrator privileges
  3. Open Help > About Alert (demo mode opens this automatically)
  4. Click Register
  5. Locate the .lic file matching the number displayed in the About Alert window
  6. Click Open
  7. Verify all licensed options now appear in the About Alert window
  8. Click OK to complete registration
